Surah The cattle [Al-Anaam] Ayah 165 Location Maccah Number 6
أَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن قَرۡنٖ مَّكَّنَّٰهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مَا لَمۡ نُمَكِّن لَّكُمۡ وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ عَلَيۡهِم مِّدۡرَارٗا وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرَ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهِمۡ فَأَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَأَنشَأۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ قَرۡنًا ءَاخَرِينَ [٦]
¿Acaso no ven (cuando viajan) cuántas comunidades anteriores a ellos destruimos —y reflexionan sobre ello—, a pesar de que les concedimos en la tierra más poder que a ustedes (que niegan a Muhammad), y hacíamos descender (frecuentemente) sobre ellas lluvia en abundancia e hicimos que los ríos (y manantiales) fluyesen (por sus tierras)? No obstante, las destruimos por sus pecados (por negar a sus profetas) e hicimos que las sucedieran otras comunidades.
